Kids in the Kitchen (Ages 4-8): Great Grains: Exploring New Tastes, Textures and Uses for Whole Grains

Maybe you’ve heard of brown rice and whole wheat pasta but how about amaranth, farro, and bulgur? Join the Keene State College dietetic interns as they take you on a sensory exploration of these ancient grain varieties and more. Kids and families will have a chance to prepare dishes featuring whole grains and learn how to easily and affordably incorporate them into meal time at home.
