Most of us hope to live a long and active life. Recent attention has focused on communities around the world that have an unusually high percentage of people living productively beyond their 90’s. Study of these so called “Blue Zones” has provided insights into the habits and lifestyle choices that contribute to a long and satisfying life. We will discuss some of the factors that are associated with longevity and address how to make practical lifestyle changes fit into everyday life.
