Week Five: August 4th – Support your local library and find a favorite childhood story to share with your kids.
Spending a few hours at the library is a great way to reminisce about childhood memories and share them with your kids. Find a story you loved reading as a child, or discover a new one that is relevant to your child’s interest. After reading some stories and exploring the library, sign your kids up for their own library cards and let them pick out a couple of books to bring home.
Remember to always be on the lookout for events held at your library! Many libraries have regular story times, summer meals, and games throughout the summer.
