As a Champion, you believe everyone should have the opportunity to live to their fullest health potential. This kind of optimism may result in a desire to move your body in a fresh new way. Well, Healthy Monadnock Champions, might we suggest you use this song for your next dance party?
“Together,” a rap song written and produced by Adam Arnone, of local band, Adam and the Flood, honors the 10th anniversary of the formation of Healthy Monadnock.
Rapper/singer Arnone was commissioned to write and produce the song by the Center for Population Health at Cheshire Medical Center and the Council for a Healthier Community to honor the work of community Champions over the past 10 years said Linda Rubin, director of the Healthy Community Initiative.
Arnone — a New Hampshire native who has 11 full-length albums and 15 years of touring under his belt — pioneered the hip-hop group, Glue. His group, The Flood, is a four-piece band that includes Arnone and Jentri Jollimore (vocals), Josh Blair (guitar) Walker Landis (bass) and Robbie Bessler (drums).
